650DIN50
the tools of a new generation™
Integration of the popular DIN50 tool holder into the 650 spindle housing delivers constant high speed with ultra low vibration and improves accuracy and rigidity.
Rigid steel construction in one piece with the tool-holder also cuts the height of the unit. The 650 is a workhorse with up to 0.88 HP (0.66 kW) at 25,000, 30,000 or 40,000 RPM.
In 24 hour operation the patented governed high speed 650DIN50 delivers constant high speed and torque under load with high reliability and accuracy as a result of its low friction power unit with few moving parts. Plenty of power to speed up your inches cut per minute. The 650's unique governed performance to achieves a faster cycle time. No duty cycle.
Automatically Load and Unload
Automatic loading available using through spindle air supply with the patented collar and block TMA assembly, or tool change without the TMA on certain machines that have an air blast line or coolant channel supplying a sufficient air flow volume.

Tool Changer Mounting Assembly - 650, 650X & 660 Series
Automatically load the 650 and 660 series of Air Turbine Spindles® in your CNC machine with the patented wrap-around Tool Changer Mounting Assembly (TMA). The TMA block remains on the CNC spindle for normal tool changes, and does not interfere with the main spindle. This collar system allows CNC tool changers to automatically load/unload your Air Turbine Spindle®.
Drilling of mounting block holes required for universal blocks.
The Tool Changer Mounting Assembly is a factory installation
When purchasing a TMA for an already-owned spindle you must send your current spindle to us for the TMA to be installed.
